When an Architect and an Interior designer have done their jobs well the public will hardly consider the lay out of a building. We move through houses, stores, schools or any other interior space and rarely do I question why the stairs are placed here or the doors over there. It is a field that takes a deep understanding of how people move about a space and anticipating how a room will be used. This piece I try to call attention to the architecture of a space by creating artificial walls that are placed in a manner to directly interfere with the publics’ movement. Which will push the questioning of why would someone create an interior space a certain way.
